Jazzwise "These Twelve O'Clock Tales need telling some more"
Park Gig September 2011
I'm feeling totally delighted with my park gig which was a complete success. Over 600 people showed up even though there was a risk of dodgy weather. Luckily it only rained for about 5 minutes and it made little impact on the event. My band were fabulous as always and I'm extremely grateful for all the local support.
A big thank you to all my sponsors including:
Anscombe and Ringland Estate Agents ( http://www.anscombes.co.uk/)

Although this sounds like the speech I'd like to make for winning an award, it was very much down to earth with a bump at the end of the show. One minute I was signing copies of my album and the next I was down on my hands and knees picking up the rubbish, and helping the stage van which had got stuck in mud! I bet Barbara Streisand couldn't boast about that at her last gig at the Carnegie Hall!
The band were on top form as usual!
The weather held out and everyone had a fantastic time!
